I have been reading that both in Europe and the USA, distressing reports on the testing results of reading comprehension skills among teachers and other educational professionals are pointing to one reason the students they "teach" are doing so poorly themselves. Is the UK Queen a proponent of more testing prior to teacher certification being awarded?

The Queen backs such tests. It is correct that the majority of American Barristers are failed teachers.

Indeed dear Minerva. Her Majesty The Queen has invented, patented and marketed her own brand of perfect English known simply as 'The Queen's English'. Sadly it is rather going out of fashion these days.
