Find out which colleges you want to attend in the UK and remember that applying for college there is different than doing so here. Most colleges do want to clear up the financial arrangements before you attend. After you decide which colleges in the UK you want to attend then ask them what their policy is regarding fees and visas. If you have questions, then contact your local British consulate or the embassy in Washington.

You have to show you have been accepted into college. No college is going to help you get a visa, by paying the fees that shows you are finiancial commited to doing the course, How do they know you will get the visa and then not attend? Pay the fees if you have a place at college. Why can you not go to your own countries college.

If you are in the last year of school in the US then I take it you are 17/18 years old? In UK we finish high school at age 16 so at 17 or 18 you will either be in college or a sixth form school. In UK college is not the same as university. You must have a college education to get into university. most college courses are 1 or 2 years so you can start uni at 18. I'm not sure if I'm helping but as I don't understand the US Grade system I can't be of anymore help.

Ok here in the UK, School works like this: You start school in The september when your 4. Its called Reception Reception - Year 6 is called Primary School Then u 'graduate to high school . U start high school in the september when your 11 Thats called Year 7 U leave high school in the June when your 16, or 15 if your 16 before September the 1st. So it depends how old you are and when your bithday is If you were born before 1st September 1990 then u have finished school! most british kids go to college which is year 12 & 13, ages 16-18, tahts free, but you dont have to go if you dont want to. :)

put the first 2 answers together and it's everything you need to know. my daughter was going to do exactly the same as you but changed her mind when she found out kids in uk colleges were there by choice and not requirement. she's under the false assumption that they are far more mature, intelligent and educated than she is. it's just a different system and both the uk and us systems are very good.

What are degree classifications equivalent to in US degree standards

What are degree classifications equivalent to in US degree standards?
I am applying to a UK school and they give all these options: Class I Class II (Division I) Class II (Division II) Class III Ordinary Pass Undivided 2nd Class Honors What do those mean in US Ungergraduate degree terms? I currently have a 3.6 GPA for my Bachelor's of Science if that helps.

A 3.6 is on the low end of what might be considered a first class (so class I in your list) degree. The undergraduate admissions page for UCL (a good london based UK university) gives a rough correlation between GPA and equivalent UK classification. http://www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students/graduate-study/application-admission/general-entrance-requirement

Well, I'm 41 and I don't think I've even heard the term before. Maybe now would be a good time for me to start.
2 :
Although I don't know the term, I assume it means words like very and really. If so I would expect children to be using these around the age of 7-8.

well im in 10th grade and never heard of adjective intensifiers lol, i know adjectives lol but i started leaning adjectives in 2nd grade
