When Catholics and Protestants were bombing school kids in the UK did anyone ever call them terrorists ?
Or is this type of activity a part of "faith" and therefore expected ? .

2 :
Yes. They are terrorists. Personally I hear that all the time.
3 :
Yes, they were called terrorists all the time. However, they weren't normally referred to as "Christian Terrorists" in the same way that Al-Qaeda is commonly called "Islamic Terrorists".

Bush was not in office then.

YES they are known as the IRA, Irish Republican Army. They were considered Terrorists. Now they do not blow things up any more for an accord has been met I am pretty sure and peace is there at the moment. It was the IRA that taught many of today's terrorist their ways and I am sure many of them are regretting it now. for their cause was much different it was to wrestle control of N. Ireland free of the UK. So yes they were called terrorists too. as was Timothy Mcvee an American who bombed his own country too. It is not religion that makes one a terrorist, it is already in their mindset and only need an excuse to use it. thats my view on it.

Yes they were called terrorist. Remember not just Christians do such things. Atheist do to..the Cultural Revolution in China was pretty terrible too. The fact that man can be evil and cruel has little to do with his religion and more to do with his heart.

They were certainly called terrorists. However they were not called Catholic terrorists and Protestant terrorists, they were called IRA terrorists or UDA or UVF terrorists or republicans and loyalists. Actually, I'm not sure the UDA/UVF actually did any bombing though they did commit other atrocities on innocent members of the Catholic community. Although they were divided on religious grounds, the conflict was not actually about religion.

But they weren't doing it in the name of God. Analyze Jesus' life and you will see there is no way you can do things in that violent way and presume you are in God's will. However Mohammed did use violence extensively .. which is why islamic terrorists say "Allah Akbar" before causing misery - there is grounds in the Koran and Mohammed's behaviour to see that as approved by 'Allah'. Jesus chose the cross - paying for our sins Mohammed chose the sword - enforcing 'Surrender' (Islam)
