This summer i'm giving my GCSEs and i'll take chemistry and biology extended but do i need math extended or core? I'm taking the extended courses right now but i have terrible grades and i'm thinking of taking the core exam. I have to hend out my submission form by the end of Jan. and i don't know whether to take math core or extended. And do i require math to get in and medicine school in UK ?

You will need math to get into uni on any course - but only at grade C. you've got biol and chem so thats no problem - so as long as you pass math (either one) you're fine. Also, at Alevel for most med schools you only need AS level biol and chem. hope this helps!

No matter what anyone tells you on this forum, you wont be 100% sure until you meet with your guidance consular! Their job is to know what classes you need to have and what college or university will require what. Dont take random peoples word for it, go to your consular! Hope that helps! Also, you can look at the University websites and see requirements you need to get into med school!
